From time to time we host birdwatchers who have come to St. John to add species to their "life lists". St. John, protected so well by the Virgin Islands National Park, is a great place to observe birds. This month, like every December, the Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count takes place. When it comes to birdwatching few vacation rentals compare to Mahogany Tree Villa, just a few steps from the Frank Bay Bird Refuge.
